Look your best...

Here are a few ideas to help you choose the BEST clothes to wear in your Senior Portraits.  Depending on the Session you have chosen, pick a variety of outfits, both casual and more formal.

~ We highly suggest a black top and a collared shirt or Jacket.
~ Short Sleeves add pounds; long sleeves are more flattering in portraits.
~ Medium to light colors look best on lighter colored backgrounds.
~ Medium to dark colors look best on dark colored backgrounds.
~ Earth tones are perfect for outdoor portraits.
~ Traditional styles keep your portraits looking great for years to come.
~ Don’t forget to bring the proper footwear for each outfit you plan to wear.
~ Busy patterns and loud colors can be distracting in your portraits.
~ Avoid bold and large patterns that might draw attention away from your face.

In order to show your true personality, we suggest you bring some of your own props for your Portrait Session.

Such as:  Musical Instruments, Uniforms, Hats, Sport Equipment, dance outfits, etc…

Final Suggestions:

~ Simple is Elegant
~ Coordinate your outfit from head to toe.
~ Darker Clothes minimize your body size.
~ Bring along a few extra clothing choices and let the photographer help you choose.
~ Don’t forget to bring your jewelry, especially your class ring.
~ Wear your hair in your regular style; do not try new styles for your portrait.
~ If you need a haircut or trim, have it done a week before.
~ Girls keep your make-up fresh and natural.
~ Guys should shave before their session and trim your mustache and beard.
~ If you wear glasses for your portrait, have the lens removed.
~ Get a good night’s rest.
